 A game changer for bad postural habits 

 

During my several seasons with Michelle I have learnt how to be aware of my body, my misuse and how to correct my bad postural habits and learning how to move more efficiently. I noticed many benefits from my first session, Michelle’s hands subtly guiding your body into its natural postural position. Michelle is very knowledgeable and passionate about the Alexander technique and her determination to improve your conditions is highly evident during your session. 

 

My range of movement has increased enormously during my sessions, I am now able to move with more freedom and less effort. Along with these sessions, guidance from Michelle and regularly practising the semi supline position I am now able to give my directions to improve my postural awareness. It’s a technique that can be used for a lifetime and the knowledge you will learn from Michelle with stay with you forever.

The first session was very relaxed and Michelle’s calm & professional approach instantly made me feel at ease. Michelle talked me through the principles of the technique and what she was doing at all times. Not long into the session, I was amazed to feel some of the tension releasing in my joints and, in particular, in my frozen shoulder that had been the cause of my discomfort for so long. I couldn’t believe the impact the first session had on me and my body. I felt able to move much more freely and was surprised that movements, which had caused me so much pain before, were now much more bearable. I was left speechless and couldn’t wait for the next session!
